Imagine automatically monitoring internal or external emails and controlling them with any number of simple, or complex, business rules using the power of Metastorm BPM. Auto-answer Sales, Support or Recruitment enquiries from any e-Mail source whether coming from an external source or generated via the corporate web-site.
e-Mail's are a major source of communication with Customers, Suppliers and Staff members. As standard, Metastorm BPM can send automated emails to any internal or external email address, however, using the BRD e-Mail Listener, Metastorm BPM can now be programmed to receive, catalogue and handle e-Mail as well.
The e-Mail Listener allows Metastorm BPM processes to automatically extract and manipulate data from any specified POP3 compliant mailbox, or an SMS system that has it's POP3 service installed.
Automatic functions make handling emails simple...
- Received e-Mails can be made to automatically
start new folders in a process, or simply add to the data within
a process.
- e-Mail sourced data and message content can be displayed
within a form, can be automatically stored as a value in variables
for forms or written away to the database for future use.
- The e-Mail Listener can be configured to filter on specific accounts or instances such as ‘sent from’, ‘Subject’, CC, BCC, in-fact any message header content….even the Message body text itself!
...and attachments can be automatically added to a clip, or saved as a file on your server.
