 PerfectForms’ integration with SharePoint is comprehensive – both MOSS (Microsoft Office SharePoint Server) and WSS (Windows SharePoint Services) are supported. 

SharePoint users can use all the elements of PerfectForms’ “smart form” development platform and the applications created using PerfectForms both inside and outside of the SharePoint environment.  Additionally, users can transfer PerfectForms workflows and data between their company’s internal SharePoint portal and external computer systems freely and seamlessly.

People using PerfectForms within SharePoint have a library of PerfectForms Web Parts at their disposal, allowing them to design, build and deploy their business process applications without having to leave the portal environment. They can also customize the user interface of each Web Part within SharePoint to match the look and feel of their company’s branding standard, including importing logos, graphics, and any style sheet supported by SharePoint (of which there are many).  Customers can develop rich, custom form-based workflows using the familiar PerfectForms development platform within SharePoint, and administrators can integrate specific PerfectForms Web Parts within any site page they choose.

Each PerfectForms Web Part can be accessed independently via specific SharePoint site pages. Administrators can embed one such Web Part – a PerfectForms Notification Icon – in any site page that will indicate the number of instances within the user’s PerfectForms projects which require attention. These notification mechanisms incorporate site page restrictions and permissions. People within a certain department who are only allowed to access that department’s SharePoint site pages will receive notifications from the PerfectForms icon that relate to their group’s specific projects.  Companies can mix different access styles to create a custom Dashboard View (instead of the standard PerfectForms dashboard), WorkPage View Collection or Instance Notification Icon.  Users can control how these Web Parts deploy – as a popup or a native tab.
